Life, Relationship

When you thought he/she was the one?!?!

Happy Monday!! Its a new week start  off your week on a positive note, do you have any goals for the week?

Always be proud of yourself even when you have failed because at least you tried right? just pick yourself up and start again.

Ever been in a relationship and thought, I think hes the one, i’m gonna marry this man or woman, they are the person i have been looking for all my life. I want to settle down with him/her, I want to spend the rest of my life with him/her. You basically see a future with this person and even growing old together. You have been together for a long time so you think well if we haven’t broken up yet we won’t part ways again. That’s the big mistake we make thinking that you will continue forever, you always work through the squabbles so nothing that cant be handled.

Sometimes your mind and heart is right, you do marry that person, but in the end are you happy? some people are happy and have no regret while some aren’t happy and regret it. Sometimes it even leads to divorce, for me personally i don’t believe in divorce, the vow said till death do us part not till when you feel to leave!!

Sometimes after 4-5 years of having a relationship, it ends, some ends in months and you wonder why me!? You think to yourself that you have put your heart and soul in the relationship, you have wasted many years of your life, why me!! why me!!, don’t beat yourself up because your hurting and you might be thinking that you can’t do without him/her. You think, What will you do now? You feel as if your life is now pointless. No! No! never you think that, not every relationship is meant to last, sometimes people come into your life as a lesson to prepare you for greater things and to make you stronger for the one who actually deserves your heart.
Sometimes we run in front of God and do things how we want to not realizeing he has other plans for us. Know that there is someone out there for you and that you will find the love you deserve. Just be patient and know that you are a traders and you deserve to be loved in the right way and by the right person.
Have you ever felt like someone was the one for you and in the end they weren’t?

Of course I felt like it. But when the pain (and your vanity) goes away, you realize why he wasn't that one perfect for you.

Yes I've felt someone was the one and at the end they weren't. Eventually you'd realise someday why they weren't the one and be glad they left. Just trust God to give you someone better.

The one is THE ONE that accepts you with all your flaws. They rarely complain. They don't ask you to change anything about yourself. They love you no matter what. Love can be tricky. Thanks for sharing, beautiful!

Absolutely! My last relationship moved very quickly, and I honestly thought I had found my soulmate. After about a month and a half, I took him as my date to my company holiday party. I was running late (as always), so he ran to the liquor store, bought everything, set up the pregame and entertained my friends, all while I was showering and getting ready. That night he wanted to go out, but my feet hurt from my shoes, so he carried me back to his apartment and let me sleep while he had late night food with his roommate. I woke up the next morning so confused how I got there, but so comfortable and safe by his side. I knew then that I loved him, and he told me he loved me that morning.

Unfortunately, his drug addiction (which I didn't know about) tore us apart not even two weeks later. It's crazy how things come and go – but everything will work out in the end!
