What’s Wrong With Repeating An Outfit?

What's Wrong With Repeating An Outfit

What’s Wrong With Repeating An Outfit? I would really like to hear everyone’s point of view on this. Is there something wrong with repeating your clothes? You can mix and match outfits to make it look a bit different!!. Can’t that be done. I don’t think there is nothing wrong with repeating your clothes. That is totally normal in my opinion.

What is so wrong why it is a problem for some persons to repeat their clothes. Is it because of status? Or is it wanting people to think you have it all? I saw a video about a year ago about the same thing. She has no problem repeating her bathing suit. Do you buy a new swim suit every time you plan on going to the beach or pool? I know i definitely don’t.

We have an event every year here in Jamaica the day before Christmas that you call grand market. My outfit was all new and the  next year I had paired the top with a different bottom and shoe. When I went to school that Monday a classmate of mine said to me. I saw you in Santa in the same top you wore to grand market last year. I really stood and looked at her and when I was about to answer a friend of mine jumped in and said. Whats wrong with that its her blouse, that’s just shows she didn’t borrow peoples clothes to wear, Did you borrow your outfit to wear to grand market why you haven’t worn it again lol. That day I realized that it is a problem to some people if you repeat your clothing.

A discussion was held where my store is the other day. They were talking about the same thing. If its your clothes what’s so wrong with repeating it. One went on to say it’s the poorer class who are always posing themselves in a certain category and saying they don’t repeat their clothes. While the middle class and rich will wear whatever or even wear the same outfit every week and if they could every day.

I’m not gonna lie. Sometimes you may want a new outfit to go somewhere but the fact is i’m not gonna stretch my pocket farther than it can go if I can’t get it or steal to get it. I rather where what I have. As a teenager I wanted a new outfit everywhere I was going but as i got older I learnt more and more about life. You can’t always have it all everytime. You have to compromise at times and satisfy with what you have.

My question to you today loves is What’s Wrong With Repeating An Outfit?. I would really love to know know and also whats so wrong with posting an outfit you wore on social media more than once but you changed it up a bit.

I am guilty of not wanting to repeat an outfit I’ve worn for a night out but it’s not because of others, it’s usually because I feel a lot more nicer in something new?! Great post x

There is absolutely nothing wrong with repeating the same outfits. I wear the same clothes to church all the time. The point is, those who matter won’t even care. And no, I do not buy a new swimsuit every year. Great post doll!

I always wear an outfit several times. Maybe I like to wear something different or pair it another way, but that’s it. Nothing wrong about it. I like the topic though! 🙂 And the culottes look lovely on you.
