So, a little insight about me. 24 years old, I’m a Radio Broadcaster, a foodie, travelholic and I love the beach.
Recently, I started getting up on Friday mornings with the urge of visiting somewhere I’ve never been or have experienced before. This Friday morning was nothing short of adrenaline rush and excitement to do so.
I thought to myself where can I visit; started listing tourist attractions and sites located in the lush, beautiful Parish of St. Elizabeth (my home Parish.) However, most places were water areas and during that period it was raining heavily.
I remembered that I was reading a book written by a friend titled “SCAMMA” this was free time to catch up on some more reading. Then it popped into my head “Las Vegas” and there I went.
I arrived and was pleased with what I saw. The seating arrangements, entertainment was on point and the view of the sea was just lovely!
Went in and got myself a tall glass of something “NICE” to drink before heading over to where I would spend quality time reading. I sat there and read a few chapters before I was rudely interrupted by my neighbors (worms) living downstairs.
Creased my page neatly to mark the chapter I was at before heading to the kitchen.
I went in and asked the beautiful young lady “how much per pound do you sell your fishes?” And of course she directed me to the board, then I went ahead and placed my order. Knowing me, I’ll only eat steamed fish and bammy, but this day I had brown stewed fish and it was MAGNIFICENT! Everything was just in point and I enjoyed it! To top my order off I had festivals and bammy along with a cold beer, strawberry daiquiri and two bottles of water.
Every minute and every dime that was spent there was worth it. YOU, should try it out.
Las Vegas Seafood Cafe is located in Black River, ten minutes to the east of the town on a beach property.
Until next time!
I Hope you loves enjoyed this post and added a new place to visit on your travel list!.
